The Baguio City trip was a blast. Since we still have a night before heading back to Cebu, we decided to stay in Manila or Cubao. It’s a good thing that the bus from Baguio City going back to Manila has many seats available, so there’s no pressure for us to fall in line. It was another long trip, so we just left ourselves to relax in the bus.
We arrived at 6:00 PM in Manila, and since the night was still early, we decided to ride the MRT. Of course, as it was their first time in Manila, the trip wouldn’t be complete without riding the MRT. To my surprise, the MRT is not really crowded during that time. Maybe people were still on vacation. I had the opportunity to photograph them for the first time while riding the MRT.
For a first timer in Manila, it wouldn’t be complete without riding the MRT or LRT since there is no train in Cebu. Their reaction was really surreal when we also tried the heavy traffic in Manila. After an hour or less, we arrived in Cubao and decided to stay at one of the hotels in the area. It’s a good thing that they have a rate which is for 12 hours only, as we came late for their standard check-in. When we settled our things and were freshened up, we took our chance to explore the place, even if it was evening. Of course, eating is what we love, so we did not miss it.
