A short-notice trip is sometimes worth the memories.
It was my first time visiting the neighboring region, which is Eastern Visayas. It’s just a sidetrip before heading to Baguio City since Tacloban to Clark flights have the cheapest rates at that time.
Cebu to Ormoc is the most convenient way of visiting the Eastern Visayas/Leyte since the boat trip is scheduled every day. It ranges from 500-700 pesos for one-way fare, and it takes less than two hours of travel.
I may be alone, but I have friends who live in Ormoc and Tacloban, so it’s a good thing I was able to meet them and be guided by them for any directions. Because my visit to this land was so brief, I will undoubtedly return to explore more of this region/province. the famous words “I shall return” by Douglas McArthur suggest.
